Are you going to film their release at Monkton NR, Wendy? At least the weather looks nice and warm next week - at least here in the south.

Thanks for that Mike, did make me laugh even after missing that third one!!!!!
Am taking them to MNR tomorrow TJ & yes, will try to film them leaving the prison. will place by Buddleia & hope they settle on it! Busily feeding on fresh blossoms laced with sugar water as I type!
Here's a couple more pics in the saga ... still two more to happen but I fear one of them compromised!
#3 @ 12.28 today
One of the first two feeding on sugared Buddleia
Another portrait but only half in focus
Their colours are either very dark or very vibrant which makes for pretty difficult photography with just a bridge cam!! The vids I tried are just rubbish, needs a lighted studio!

They are beautiful Wendy & their colours never cease to amaze me, I hope they get out early for good behaviour (if it's sunny).
Best wishes

Excellent forecast for tomorrow for us!
Free at last!!
Well done, Wendy. Lucky that the Buddlleia still has plenty of flowers and the weather is warm. They took to it straight away.
Thanks TJ, it felt really good to add another three healthy bods to their ranks!
Brilliant to see the release Wendy, your TLC and dedication has paid off with these three beauties as they enjoy the sunshine and the Buddleia; our's have pretty much finished and although a mild 17.5 degrees had no sunshine on offer today. A lot of gardening done though !
