Here's a few shots from Sunday
I was glad to see Mr Rook doing a grand job of cleaning up the mess left by spadgers earlier.
Isn't he a handsome chap.
A few of his cousins just wonder if they can help
She made it safely I wonder if I can
I'm watching you carefully
Phew...made it.
Got rid of those pesky jackdaws and now you can see my lovely plumage
Shame that person with the camera left out my tail!!
Just showing that I'm good at sharing really.
Hope you like them

Lot to learn
A couple of Magpie pics
Mayday! … I'm going down! … Mayday!
A Magpie, crashing into water? No, couldn't be. Are you sure it wasn't a Tufted Duck.
Oh, alright. It's just that bath-time's such fun!
It really brings out the colours, don't you think?
That's the second Magpie I've seen in that pool on consecutive visits.

Fantastic photo captures Nigel, the plumage of the magpie is so stunning with the range of blue/green colours along side the black and white. I love the corvids.

Love those bathtime photos Nigel, with a handy rock to preen on afterwards. Saw and heard two ravens today but they flew away when they saw me heading their way, of course no camera with me.
This was taken at Stonehenge back in May, I'd never thought of them as being so tame

wow, what a lovely experience Tony and hope you still had five fingers left at the end of the feeding lol btw, shouldn't that be Canon gear in your hand !!!
Carrion Crow from a few weeks back.
My bird photos HERE
That is a lovely pic of the carrion crow Paul, just love the glossy plumage and his beady eye on you.
This Crow seems to have gone a bit salt and pepper …
Almost a Magpie tail!!, I do like his beady eye fixed on you Nigel. Great shot, look at that plumage:-)
A few garden corvids; Jay and Magpie
doesn't take long for the Jays to spot some fresh pastry and peanuts ........there are four Jays around and saw three today.
record shot of two of the Jays together ....
Magpie

not the best shot but I loved the way this cheeky Jay tilted it's head staring down at me lol
