These two were only feet away, which was a bonus considering their normally flighty nature.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Cracking shots, Terry. I've never seen a Purple Sandpiper let alone to get close enough for a shot like that. Great that the the Rock Pipit is so confiding.
