Hi all. I got a few shots of some Roe Deer when I was out and about today so I wondered if it would be worth starting a thread for Mammals? I'll add the Deer shots along with a few older shots and if anyone else feels like posting their Mammal photos here then please free to do so. :-)
Roe Deer at Aberlady today.
A few older shots now.
A small bwown Wabbit.
An even smaller bwack Wabbit.
And a few Bottlenose Dolphins

It's more about the 20 fps burst mode lol
The downside of woodland photography.
Yep ... Happens to me too. Like in my Kingfisher shot last week. I got 3 out of 50 where it's eye wasn't obsured by a big leaf ...
Yesterday and the rut in the Peaks is over, thank heavens I hear you say :) It was great to see a tree full of fieldfares and it will be nice to start branching out a bit more (literally and figuratively)

It is lovely up there at sunrise with just you and the moors rolling out in front of you. Too dark early on to take photo's of the wildlife this weekend because of the clouds but a great way to start the walk off :) There was the odd half hearted bellow on the landscape from a stag but no reply to what is now just a gesture. They are all done in I guess and will start getting back together and being mates.
Locally valley roe deer. A lot more elusive than the moorland red deer and probably my favourite of the two.
A bit of late action. Young stags having a practice for years to come.
