Well, after finding fake dolphins and with the weather for the hills not looking great, had a change of plan yesterday and decided to go to Chanonry Point to see the dolphins! It was well worth the trip!

Great set of pictures, we paid a visit there this year, about a hundred people had gathered, but unfortunately the dolphins had just started feeding so we did not get them leaping like in your pictures, but it was an amazing sight.
Great photo Paul! There wasn't many people there when I arrived, probably because it was fairly early turning of the tide just before 9am, but numbers were building when I left (in fact the car park was full, someone was luck and managed to get the space I'd left). Think I'd only go for an early low tide!
Thanks Kat, Yes I think you are right, we have booked a cottage for next year right on the coast, so we will be going early, we were staying near Huntley this year so was a fair trek.
I'm three hours away from Chanonry Point so was a long day-trip LOL! Hope you get good tides when you're up!
Thanks, we had a great time from Spey bay with the Ospreys, to the Slovonian grebes near Inverness. to the Dolphins at Chanory.
