I had a brilliant close encounter with a female Peregrine Falcon a week or two back, managed a few shots, and here's one of the better ones for anyone who is interested :)

WOW!!!!!!! That's a fabulous image Jimbob. Thanks for sharing it.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi jimbob,
That is a lovely photo you are fortunate to get such a good shot of it.
Thanks Squirrel, Little owl, I know just how lucky I was!! funnily enough for a relatively common bird in my parts, this was the first I've seen in quite some time, and certainly the first I have manged to photograph succesfully.
I went home smiling that day:)
That is a fantastic shot shows his flying skill to perfection

Wow! That is absolutely brilliant!

That is an excellent photograph, I can well understand you going home happy. Thank you.
A truly awesome picture of such an amazing bird of prey, just love the glint in the eye!
An absolutely cracking shot!! Seems he has his eye on you too! I've only ever seen them high up in quarries!!

What a wonderful shot, Jimbob. Such clear and sharp detail too. I love to see photos of birds in flight but they are so difficult to get as I know only too well.
I seem to remember you posted an equally good shot of a golden eagle a few weeks ago. Is he still visiting you? Keep up the good work.

Hi JimBob
what a great shot!
Hey farmer, farmer, put away the D.D.T now. Give me spots on my apples, but leave me the birds and the bees, please!
