The journey home for Christmas.
For some it might only be a tube ride or short commute from the office, but many will be migrating across the UK for the winter hols.
When travelling it always strikes me how varied our habitats are, even between next-door counties, almost every one has some unique natural environment to offer.
So soak it up and enjoy the contrast! I'm going from the flat agricultural fields of East-Anglia to the dunes and beaches of the North West coast.
No matter how far you're travelling, it's good to reacquaint yourself with environments at home, perhaps you have a favourite spot in a near by park or woodland.
