Emperor moth - photo by Richard Revels (www.rspb-images.com)

I saw this great image from Richard Revels on RSPB Images and just had to share it! I mean, just look at those funky antennae!

It's an Emperor moth, the only member of its family in the UK. And now it's April, it should be appearing on open country and moorland near you soon.

For this and other great images see www.rspb-images.com, there's thousands of wildlife from all over the world. But sometimes, like with our friend the moth, the spectacular is just on your doorstep.
