What a scorching weekend that was! Well, in my part of the world anyway. It got me dreaming of lazy summer days spent on the beach. Especially as it's clouded over here today. As I'm still thinking of visiting one of the UK's many great beaches, I thought I'd see what RSPB Images had to offer. I came across this little fella :
Ray Kennedy took this shot of a ringed plover chick legging it across a beach. I love it. Ringed plovers are a classic beach bird for me, and who couldn't say that this little fluffball isn't cute as well?
