Welcome to Radipole lakes brand new blog where we will be updating regularly with news and stories straight from the nature reserve and visitor centre. Radipole Lake is a very special place for wildlife and for people. Being situated in the middle of a busy town, it is almost unique amongst RSPB reserves. It boasts a vast variety of wildlife all of which is on offer for our visitors come and enjoy!

This year we are looking forward to some exciting events. Marsh Harriers started breeding in 2009 so will they return in 2010? We are hopefully having a Sand Martin wall built, but will it be used? Last year saw Otters make an appearance on the reserve but will they be seen again? All these questions will be answered over the next few months so keep checking the blog for updates!!
