We have made frequent reference to the recent increase in otter signs and sightings on Radipole which have usually come as a result of the growing list of duties that require us to be on site pre-dawn. To save you these ungodly privations we have captured some more footage on our motion activated cameras which can be accessed from the link below. Short but incredibly sweet!

This film has been segued into our existing otter footage and is available for all to see in the Visitor Centre.
To allow us to film and observe our otters Anne and I have built a hide from timber reclaimed from a defunct cattle enclosure and reed sheaf's left over from the construction of reed screens. It looks a little ‘iron age’ but will hopefully do what it is intended for.
It does looks a bit like an iron-age shower (but much more cosy!) perhaps there's a market out there for these top-end observation posts. I'm sure I saw the curtains move just then! Looking forward to many more excellent movies to update us on our most welcome otter family.
Seize the day!
