Another month goes by at the Weymouth Wetland Reserves - it's been sunny but chilly, but that hasn't stopped visitors from enjoying the sights and sounds of the reserves.

Wildlife highlights this month include more up-close bearded reedling sightings at Radipole Lake, a pintail too, and most amazingly a fly-by from a white tailed sea eagle!

In the café, sausage rolls are now on the menu and the Discovery Centre continues to be busy, especially at weekends.

The wardens have been continuing to cut back the scrub and reeds to improve the reserves for both viewing and for wildlife. They have also cleared a space to the side of the Discovery Centre for where we have big plans for a wildlife garden!
