Christmas is fast approaching and the school holidays are just about to begin. The Radipole Lake Discovery Centre has lots of crafty activites to keep the children occupied.  Last week's activities are hanging up on display, brightening up the Discovery Centre.

This week there are six different crafts to choose from:

1. Colouring in activities, a range of pencils and crayons are available.

2. Pin the Nose on Rudolph. Can you stick Rudolph's Nose on in the right place while blindfolded?

3. Make your own Christmas cards for your family and friends.

4. and 5. Make a Robin or an Angel decoration to take home or hang on the Discovery Centre Christmas Tree.

6. Or you can make your own fir cone creature.

Some of the crafts will change next week but there is always something different to make in our Discovery Centre.

While you are being crafty you may see the Kingfisher who has been around outside the Discovery Centre most of today. Sightings of the Otter and Marsh Harrier have also been seen close by. Bearded Tits and Cetti's Warblers have been singing loudly around the reserve recently. A number of Robins and other woodland birds are around to escort you on your walk.

For further information on any of the activities and for the latest sightings, contact Radipole Lake Discovery Centre, details below or pop in and see us. Hot and cold refreshments, snacks and ice creams available.
