The mysterious herd of boar that was causing mischief over the last week was finally captured and removed on Friday morning. They were spotted at the eastern end of Pembury Walks and were coaxed with delicious treats into an enclosure by Steve, the Warden and Mick, from the Hadlow estate. They were given water and food until they were picked up by the Crowborough Warren estate. The whole ordeal was far more straightforward than was anticipated due to their tameness and fearless pursuit of food.

Unfortunately we’re no closer to understanding where these wee beasties came from but we enjoyed their mischievous company while it lasted.
