We've had a lot of stoat action at The Lodge in recent weeks, and today a couple were playing around beside the hide pools, then suddenly jumping in for a quick splash about. Tim Felce was in the hide with his wife at the time and took the following amazing images...

A party of six ravens were flying over Sandy Ridge calling, the hobbies are busy keeping their young fed on the Galley Hill trail; here is the male keeping a watchful eye on the nest site. ( image Steve Blain)

Spotted flycatchers were seen over the weekend, also on Galley Hill trail and Lizzie and me spotted a painted lady butterfly on Sandy ridge trail today.

So plenty of wildlife action even now the bird life is becoming quieter after the breeding season.

We are heading towards our Big Wild Sleepout event this coming weekend and although our event is fully booked now, you can still take part and camp out in your own garden as part of the event.Check out the web site below to find out more.
