Snowy Sunday

We'll.... we didn't have the greatest weekend for our Big Garden Birdwatch warm- up event, it's hardly stopped snowing or raining throughout both days!

We held the Fuller's Hill cottage calendar photo presentation, with over 25 of us packed in to the Visitor Centre (which was very cozy) to make the presentations. One of our roving ranger volunteers Keith Golt, won first prize with his excellent shot of mute swans on the Norfolk broads.

Thanks to Jenny from Fuller's Hill cottages for all of her hard work and support in producing the calendar and raising funds for The RSPB, BBC Children in Need and a local pre-school.

Despite the weather, there's been a good number of bramblings around the feeders, probably over 30 at times, and one birder saw a hawfinch on the bird table yesterday!
