I was talking to a chap from Beds Birds On Sat 07th ( John ) while in the info kiosk, he then crossed the drive and had a Ring Necked Parakeet fly over the new heath, which he got a photograph of.
Would have been a nice bird for my Lodge list if I had been looking !
Did have a small group of Crossbills which flew out of the pines down the track to Sandy and called as they flew off towards the hillfort, on Sat morning.
