Notice of temporary trail closure from Monday March 12 for four weeks.

The surface of the trail path that runs from the wooden entrance gate at the bottom of the hill (from Sandy and the station) through the reserve and up to the Lodge shop is being improved as part of a new Sustrans route, requiring the closure of this short section of path. The work is scheduled to start on March 12th and last for approximately one month.

Please use the main paved footpath beside the road (B1042) during this period, if walking between Sandy and the main reserve entrance and shop, or returning back by this route.

All other trails on the reserve are open as usual, including the Galley Hill circular trail

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
