Works along the boundary wall and slopes are really taking shape, as you will have noticed if you've driven along the B1042 from Sandy to Potton recently! All of the bricks from the delapidated wall have been removed and the soil is now being moved onto the edge of the new heath to create invertebrate and a viewing mound, to give panoramic views over the heathland.

A spotted flycatcher was around for most of the day on a dead tree  on the path down to the hide, and two hobby's have been very active on the new heath - lots of our visitors have seen them today. When will they leave us to go back to Africa?
