Hitchin & Letchworth Local RSPB Group are starting their program for the new season with lots of interesting talks and coach trips to some great wildlife spots.
On Friday September 7th we have a talk by Stuart Elson on Colorado: The Chicken Run. Come and hear about Colorado, from knee-deep snow to barren dust bowls, where the grouse, or prairie chicken, has their entertaining courtship leks. On Sunday September 16th we have an all day coach trip to Cley, Norfolk WT's flagship reserve, which offers fantastic opportunities to see reed bed birds as well as departing and passage migrants.
