The Lodge.

We had an early start for the Sounds of Spring Dawn chorus walk this morning, but well worth it to be out and listening to the birds at the start of the day. Cuckoo, hobby, lots of warblers and a few swifts overhead were the highlights of the walk, + the bacon roll at the end!

Last night we had the twilight and bat walk, and although it was quite cold the bats performed well and the natterjack toads were calling as a bonus.

Steve Kershaw is set up in the sunshine at the Visitor Centre, and Steve has kindly donated the framed picture of wildlife at The Lodge, which we will be having as a prize draw this year.
