Give Nature a Home Event

Sunday 4 March 11 am – 3 pm

An event full of fun and discovery with;

  • Bird-ringing demonstrations.

  • Owl pellet dissection. What owls hunt and eat in these engaging sessions

  • Bedfordshire Natural History Society - local wildlife information, touch and feel displays, quizzes and much more

  • RSPB Bedford Local Group. Local wildlife information and latest organised talks and trips.

  • What small mammals are here? - join the Bedfordshire mammal trappers to discover what four-legged creatures we can find here today.

  • Get nice and messy making bird cake and help us feed the birds at the feeding stations

  • Stock up on bird food and feeders from the RSPB shop

  • Wildlife badge making (donations for these activities)

  • Give Nature a Home information

  • Binocular and telescope demonstration

    Snacks, tea coffee and refreshments available from the shop

    Costs; RSPB members £3, RSPB Wildlife Explorers £2, non-members adults £4, children £3. Donations welcome for badge making and activities.

Car park and entrance fee of £5 per car for non-members
