It is that time of year where we put on the Giving Nature a Home festival at The Lodge reserve.

Sunday 5 March

11.00am - 3.00pm

An event full of fun and discovery.
• Bird ringing demonstrations
• Owl pellet dissection. What do owls hunt and eat in these engaging sessions
• Quiz's and nature table with Bedfordshire Natural History Society 
• RSPB Bedford Local group. Local information and latest organized talks and trips.
• What small mammals are here? - join the Cambridgeshire mammal trappers to discover what four-legged creatures we can find here today (TBC)
• Get nice and messy making bird cake
• Stock up on bird food and feeders from the RSPB shop
• Wildlife badge making (donations for these activities)
• Give Nature a Home information
• Binocular and telescope demonstration

Price: Costs; RSPB members £3, RSPB Wildlife Explorers £2, non-members adults £4, children £3. Donations welcome for badge making
