This week Laura is back with an update on all things Winter Wonderland. It is just over a week into the Strumpshaw family Christmas trail and there is much festive fun to be had!
Some of you have already had a Wonderland Adventure this holiday season, but if not, grab your families and a coat and visit us soon. The Wonderland Adventure family trail began last Saturday and runs throughout the holidays until 3 January (excluding 24, 25 and 26 December). Grab a trail pack for just £2.50 (£2.00 for child members) and head into the Winter Wonderland in search for clues as to where Strumpy the Snowman has got to.
There is still time to take part so what are you waiting for? Pick up your trail pack at Reception today! Pack will include activity sheets, pencil, a simple craft and a small take home prize.
In a similar fashion to Halloween, this trail is a great way to get into the holiday spirit, so come prepared for a whole lot of festive fun. Alongside looking for Strumpy, the trail also involves looking for Strumpy’s woodland friends and learning all about the tracks and signs you might find in the mud and on the ground in the Winter Wonderland. Learning about animal tracks is part of the online Wild Challenge and you can continue your festive fun at home to build up points and prizes! 10.30am-3.30pm daily. 12 Dec to 3 January (excluding 24, 25 and 26 December).
Price: £2.50 per child (RSPB member £2.00). Normal entry charges apply in addition to the trail pack. No need to book, simply turn up on the day.
