After watching their antics on our webcam over the past few weeks (and often viewing an empty screen) we can now finally report that the stars of our live Internet feed Mr and Mrs razorbills are well on their way to parenthood as Mrs razorbill has now laid her egg.
We will now be waiting in anticipation for their egg to hatch.
You can watch the razorbills for yourself from the comfort of your own home by visiting our website and view the seabird camera.
After reading the blogs and viewing the fantastic web cam images of Mr & Mrs Razorbill & Egg - and having never visited South Stack before we decided that a trip was well overdue.
Well now we've been - we must say 'what a place!!!' Anglesey is such a beautiful Island with South Stack the cherry on the cake - the coastal drive from our Trearddur Bay caravan site to South Stack was breathtaking - to rival any scenery that we have seen in the world.
We parked in the RSPB car park and walked to Ellins Tower, the spring flowers were all bursting with colour, from pinks to purples, violet, yellows and blue and the smell of coconut from the gorse was delightful - when we reached the Tower we were greeted with a view that was truly amazing, azure sparkling sea and mountains all around us, the sea birds were everywhere - all crammed in and nesting on narrow cliff ledges, we couldn't believe it,
suddenly someone said 'look there it is' - right there peaking out behind that rock' - and sure enough in all its colour and comical swagger we caught site of our first ever Puffin - right in front of us on the TV screen that was broadcasting live footage from the cliff side camera.
We really did have a great day out at South Stack and to top it all off we also saw Dolphins right below us jumping out of the sea - wow - what a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
We would like to say a very big thank you to the friendly RSPB staff - we will definitely be back in the future.
See you all soon
