Hi Everyone, For the past few years from September to November we've had a flock of sheep grazing Holyhead Mountain as part of our close shepherding conservation grazing programme. We're excited to announce that this year we've been able to double the amount of grazing and so from mid July to end of November, our flock of Hebridean sheep will graze the mountain as part of our close shepherding project. Our Shepherd Pete Godfrey will be taking the sheep up onto the mountain each morning and directing them around the mountain. During this time, we will be moving the sheep along the roads and around the reserve between 9am and 10am and 4pm and 5pm on weekdays. During this time, we and the sheep really appreciate your patience while we might have to slow down traffic. If you have any questions about the project, please feel free to email us at south.stack@rspb.org.uk or phone 01407 762100.
