What a great day out! Our Youth Nature Officers should be extremely proud of themselves, I know we all are in south Essex. The weather was kind to us, the inflattables were a big draw for the children and even allowed some of us adults to find our childish side!
Our Phoenix club once again proved to be great fundraisers not only manning their cake stall, but also baking the cakes. Delicious they were too, well someone had to sample them, its a tough life!
Undoubtedly, the star attractions were the two bands and two solo female singers, all of whom gave their time for free.
A completely different way to 'Step Up For Nature' - The event finished with the gunging of Scott, fortunately loads of people made a donation to take part in the gunging and Scott was covered head to foot. A great way to Step Up and raise money for nature, well done Scott.
