Can you tell what it is yet?
It opened it's wings and showed itself to be a male brown argus, delightful!
The beetle below is either a soldier or a sailor, answers on a postcard please.

Also, I replaced the membership forms I collected for Rainham last week.
Also, was on West Canvey today and the windpump near the viewing platform has a problem. Every now and again the 90 degree gearing at the top seems to slip, the blades still rotate but the vertical shaft stops and starts.
