Last week, our Holiday Wildlife club taster day was a huge success lots of families turning up to enjoy the sunshine and a glass of woodland berry pop at Sandwell Valley.
Inquisitive children with nets and bug pots in hand, set off to explore our minibeast meadow and they were not disappointed! The Bug Hunt was a huge success as bees, moths, damselflies, beetles, ladybirds, frogs and more were discovered. The children and their families were amazed, as was I at their excellent ability to catch such fast moving creatures.
Children also got creative painting pictures and building the most incredible Wacky Bugs! Have a look at some of the photos to see what amazing creations they came up with!
This week we had 20 children attend Holiday Wildlife Club who had a great time exploring natures colours with plenty of hide and seek in the woods thrown in. Next weeks theme is ‘Watery World’s’ and we will be pond dipping and much, much more. We hope to see you there!
Thank you to all those that attended the Holiday Wildlife Club taster day. We couldn’t have done it without you!
