Do you want to develop a career in conservation? Do you want to become part of a team at two of the Midlands most exciting reserves?
Well if so, we have the opportunity for you!
We are looking for a volunteer intern to join our small team at Middleton Lakes and Sandwell Valley and help with the day to day reserve management work on 2 very different reserves.
Middleton Lakes is an ex quarry site that we are developing into a wetland mecca and Sandwell Valley is an urban oasis situated just minutes from Birmingham city centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to pursue a career in conservation, build your experience and develop your skills that will stand you in good stead for the competitive job market.
You don't need all the experience or qualifications under the sun, we want to hear from you if you are enthusiastic, friendly, passionate about nature and have a true desire to learn. Unfortunately we can't offer accommodation but we can offer travel expenses and the ideal candidate will have a full driving license.
If you think that this is you then follow the link, Here to find more information, how to apply and tell us why you are the person we need!
To give you a flavour of where you could be working, here is a shot of the wonderful Sandwell Valley!
And the fantastic Middleton Lakes!
