Met the architects

Last night we had the opportunity to talk to the appointed architects for the proposed new visitor centre here at Sandwell.

Twenty volunteers joined RSPB staff for our “Meet the Architect” event last night.  Four hours of very interesting and detailed discussions helped fill seven flipcharts with ideas, and many pages of notes were taken away by our architect team.   

 Many thanks for everyone who took part, despite the very humid conditions and motorway problems.

 Architect Ian Bramble will be working with RSPB staff to distil all your ideas into a brief to use as the basis for his initial design work.

 Anyone unable to attend the meeting is welcome to submit ideas via email to mike.pollard@rspb.org.uk.
