Wildlife sightings - 19 March

Hi everyone,

How are you?

I went for a walk on the reserve earlier so I thought I would let you know what I saw today:

Trails
Peacock butterfly, comma butterfly, bees, wasps, fox, greenfinch, chaffinch, great tit, blue tit, robin, blackbird, chiffchaff, cettis warber, moorhen, black headed gull, and grey heron.

Draper hide
Mute swan, teal, gadwall, mallard, tufted duck, pochard, shoveler, coot, moorhen, little grebe, magpie, crow, pigeon, sparrowhawk, kingfisher, black headed gull, green sandpiper and kingfisher.

Ashby hide
Moorhen, coot, teal, gadwall, mallard, and little grebe.

Kingfisher hide
Kingfisher (there was two males around the bank earlier having a barny!), kestrel, blue tit, great tit, greenfinch, blackbird, coot, and pigeon.

Lagoons (Tern and Gadwall hides)
Gadwall, mallard, tufted duck, teal, shoveler, pochard, shelduck, coot, moorhen, little grebe, black headed gull, lesser black backed gull, and lapwing.
