Just a quick blog to tell you about the wildlife highlights!
There has been masses of fieldfare around over the last couple of days! There was about 100 on the grassy area next to the visitor centre yesterday!
Today we've had great views over at the lagoons including: 2 green sandpiper, snipe, lapwing, hundreds of teal, 5 shelduck, grey wagtail, common gull, and masses of other duck species!
Would you like to know a random fact that I worked out today...I've been working for the RSPB at Rye Meads for 8 years now! Wow! :)And... The Assistant Site Manager has been here for almost 10 years, the Education Officer for about 13, and we have two volunteers that have been here 35 years a piece.... I think that shows that Rye Meads is a great place to go! :)
