Afternoon everyone!
How are you?
After the fog of this morning this afternoon is really lovely!
I thought I would give you some of the highlights of the day (so far)... There's been some lovely views of the kingfishers over at the Kingfisher hide, along with a bittern that has been seen in the reedbed at the back of the water behind the cctv camera. A green sandpiper has been spotted over at the Draper hide, along with a couple of green woodpeckers, a chiffchaff, and a female sparrowhawk. At the Tern hide a couple of oystercatchers were seen flying off, and a cettis warber was seen! The sun has brought out some butterflies, we've seen brimstone and comma! Watervole has been seen a couple of times today - one has on the main trail near the Kingfisher hide, but there was one at the Lapwing hide that was being chased by a weasel!
Fab!
