I'm back! Did you miss me? I've been on holiday for a week but all will be back to normal from Monday!

So, tonight is one of our Barn Owl Watches!

So far one of the pair has been sitting in a tree since about 4.30 pm! Great stuff!

Next weekend, on Sunday 18 March, the Draper and Lapwing hides will be staying open until 6.30 pm so we can try and get a lovely view of the barn owls! Don't miss out!

So what else has been going on at Rye Meads? Well...

The kingfishers have been showing off. They seem to be doing their thing. They are using the bank that can be seen from the Kingfisher Hide.

Two pairs of great crested grebes were seen on the lagoon from the Gadwall Hide.
There has been some nice views of snipe, green sandpiper, water rail and lots of wildfowl at the Tern Hide.

There have been loads of nice views of watervole around the site.

Great stuff!
