We have been notified that Thames Water will be starting work on the New River bridge along Rye Road on Monday. The work will see the existing bridge demolished and replaced. The new bridge will allow two-way traffic and will be stronger.
There will be a pedestrian walkway available for access.
The diversion for vehicles takes you down Essex Road, Pindar Road, Normandy Way and Fishermans way
Working hours Monday to Friday 7.30-18.00 and Saturday and Sunday 9.00-17.00.
