Hello everyone,

I hope that you are well.

Just wanted to give you an update about the going's on!

We're getting great views of the kingfishers!
At the Gadwall hide the pair have been quite active, exploring the bank, and they were seen mating yesterday, so fingers crossed!

The pair at the Kingfisher hide have been showing off nicely. They are currently feeding young, so the adults are being seen quite often bringing in fish to the nesting bank!

The best time to see kingfisher is when they are feeding young - as they are in and out very often bringing in fish. It can be every ten minutes!

The kestrels are showing off nicely as well from the Kingfisher hide.
We think the female is sitting on eggs in the top box (on the pylon), and the male is bringing in food for her. The male tends to go into the lower box with the food, the female come out of the other box, collects the food and then flys off (usually to a near by tree) to eat, and then heads back to incubate!

This picture is also Geoffs!
