Once back inside it’s all about DIY and creating bird boxes and homes for the winter for birds in our own gardens. Finally there will be time to sit down in the classroom with a drink and listen to a story. This day is aimed at children but open to all the family.

You need to be here for a whole session either 10 – 12 or 2 – 4, on either Tuesday or Thursday. Members £6, non members £10. Booking essential. Photo: Messy Welly Club by Debs Allbrook

WEDNESDAY 28 OCTOBER - WILD WEDNESDAYS!

Join our half term club for children aged 6-12, go wild, learn about nature and make new friends! We will be talking about science and nature today, and how weather feeds our wetland nature reserves and makes it perfect for all the animals that live here. We will investigate creatures that live in our rivers and streams, make a lovely cocktail of smelly plants too, and even fit in some games! Children will be under the care of our qualified Education team for the day so remember their packed lunch. Sessions must be booked and paid for in advance.
