I am very excited to tell you that we saw a barn owl yesterday!Woohoo! We don't get them here very often!
Visitors saw the bird sitting on and going into the owl box at the Draper hide (if you are sitting in the hide, it's the box on the left)! The Rye Meads Ringing Group saw the bird too flying up and down the east bank of the Draper!
This is very exciting for us as this is the first time that a barn owl has been near the barn owl box! Thank you to the two young birdwatchers that first spotted the bird!
