In contrast to the previous photo this young bird will have had an adult feeding it throughout meaning it was in good condition when we get to it. This bird was cut free and the plastic had not inflicted any injuries on it (sometimes the leg or wing can be damaged). The bird in this photo had actually fallen from the nest above such was the length of plastic involved.
