Cattle Egrets coming in to roost at Barleycroft Lake

At dusk last Thursday, nearly 40 cattle egret and 10 great egret (figures from Cambridge Bird Club blogspot) flew to Barleycroft lake to roost. This photo shows 7 cattle egret landing by the water before they moved to tree branches for the night (the same trees s are habitually used by cormorant - you'll recognise the trees by the bleached whiteness from persistent cormorant use!)
