Three Bitterns seen together over Cuckoo Fen, mid-afternoon on Friday. I was chatting to two RSPB staff at the time, who told me that one of their colleagues saw 5 flying there together earlier that same day. It does seem like Cuckoo Fen is the hotbed of Bittern activity - I've seen none to the North of the Hanson conveyor so far this year.
