This spring Charlotte hosted a series of workshops with support from the wider RSPB team; Chris, Hannah, Richard and Jonathan.  Thank you to all local residents that attended and helped to design the routes and select the destination features to be installed on the routes. These included an owl box and new benches.

We are sure that this work will create maps that encourage members of the local community to use sustainable access routes to go to the nature reserve and become more aware of the partnership project that is creating this vast wetland.

Routes features chosen for the maps include bee orchids, common tern, smew and the rare turtle doves that are making their home on the Needingworth quarry site.

Below is the draft map for the Over route which has been sent to participants for comments prior to being coloured.

Local residents are invited to attend the following as part of this project.  If you would like to attend your village's work party or guided walk then please email ousefen.rspb.org.uk
