Making a change from the standard Dawn Chorus walk, on 16th May we are holding a Dusk Chorus walk. Starting at 19:30, we will be meeting in the reserve car park before heading off around the reserve. Nature is never predictable, but with the walk spanning the period as sunlight starts to fade on the moor, we hope to see and hear an amazing array of Otmoor wildlife. There could be snipe drumming, owls hooting and bats swooshing past. We hope to hear warblers warbling, see hares bounding past and birds flying in to roost in the reedbed as the sun sets. Hobbies might be out catching insects until late in the evening, joined by swifts, swallows and martins. Lapwings and redshanks will be displaying over the fields. Otmoor is an amazing place, with some amazing wildlife and we want you to come and experience it.

Guided walk prices: Non-RSPB members £5, RSPB members £4, children (up to 12 years old) free. Booking essential, please email otmoor.admin@rspb.org.uk or telephone 01865 351163 for more details
