Rainham marshes rspb (wc)
Meet in the reserve car park RM19 1SX (TQ551790). Waders & wildfowl with a view of the barn owl perhaps. In the reed beds: bearded tits, reed buntings & stonechats. Bring binoculars if you have them and a packed lunch. Outdoor meetings are free of charge.

Dungeness Lighthouse and RSPB reserve (WC)
Park in the Old Lighthouse car park TN29 9NA (TR088169). Gulls, gannets & grebes & later at the RSPB reserve TN29 9PS (TR067184) ducks, egrets and possibly a bitten on the new RSPB islands. Bring binoculars if you have them and a packed lunch. Outdoor meetings are free of charge.

“LOOKING FOR THE GOSHAWK” by Conor Jameson. This once common bird of prey has all but disappeared from our forests. Why? And where is the elusive Goshawk now? Admission £3.50 for group members and £4.50 for non-members including refreshments.
The North Kent Marshes are a very special area and worth preserving at all cost.
