Today the Bexley Group made a visit to Northward Hill.
Some of the faces were familiar as a number are volunteers on the reserve, they said they had a great time and had seen lots of birds including a sparrowhawk, baby avocets, many butterflies including Marbled whites and maybe best of all, a Red kite drifting overhead towards Cooling.
The North Kent Marshes are a very special area and worth preserving at all cost.
