This is yesterday's near verbatim report from one of our birders.
My first 3 Redwings of the winter over Crossens Inner Marsh this morning with a Siskin and a flock of 50 Jackdaws. Watched the Pink-feet leaving the estuary and heading inland; a few (including blue neck collar 2SB) landed on the outer marsh. 700+ Golden Plover, 300+ Black-tailed Godwits, Sparrowhawk and Merlin over the marsh with 5 Goldcrests and a Great-spotted Woodpecker in the bushes.
Apparently, the ringed Pink-foot is from the Spitzbergen ringing project.
