At Marazion, the volunteers and I shifted three tonnes of gravel to resurface the boggy footpath near the Red River, lets hope that this time it withstands the seasonal floods.  And after ten years of asking Network Rail to repair their fence opposite Jordon’s Cafe on the seafront we decided to do the repair ourselves.  We have had some trouble utilising the old, wonky concrete post but the fence should keep people out of the sanctuary area and should help reduce the amount of litter blowing onto the nature reserve.  The volunteers will continue to maintain the reserve infrastructure for the next few months but if you notice anything broken, damaged or overgrown please inform the staff at the reserve office – thank you.
