The power company will be on site at Loch of Strathbeg tomorrow replacing the electricity poles/cables in front of the visitor centre. This means that there will be significant disturbance in front of the centre and large vehicles using the entrance track and the car park. We will also have no power to the visitor centre (including the coffee machine!) or the office for much of the day, so no access to emails or phone for the duration of the work. We can still access Twitter via mobile phone so keep an eye on www.twitter.com/RSPB_NEScot where we'll keep you updated with any news and let you know when the power's back on.

The Visitor Centre and Tower Pool Hide will still be open as usual but there will probably be more to see in the quieter part of the reserves (Fen & Bay Hide) and you'll have to bring your own tea or coffee!
