After last weeks excitement of the Ring Ouzel, Lapland Bunting and Firecrest our trip to the Plantation did have a after the Lord Mayors show feel about it and this was reflected in what we found.

A solitary female Blackcap is still there from last week, with good number of Robins and also a few Goldcrest.

After that we went to the Lagoon and found 8 Redshank working their way up into the Lagoon, 4 Grey Plover at the mouth and a female Eider came in as we were watching on the tide.

Some Ruff, about 3, are hanging around on the Low Ground but where Red-A is at the moment we're not too sure but there's nothing new there!

The Farmland Bird Surveys have started up again and the count came back as 30 Yellowhammers, 60 Goldfinches, 3 Corn Bunting and 2 Brambling. 1 Brambling was seen underneath the Willow Hide feeders this morning.

That's about it - let's just hope the easterlies pick up again!
